The new mistress

That morning, the whole class was silent. You could have heard a pin drop. Then in the corridor, clop... clop... clop... a strange sound of footsteps. Suddenly, the door opened and a strange old lady with a funny hat appeared. It was her: Charlotte the shallot, our new teacher.

This bizarre teacher confides in a pebble, makes us measure the classroom with spaghetti, and doesn't like dictations. This doesn't please the school principal or our parents who want to fire her. But can we let go so easily a teacher who reads us stories in such a way that we feel like we are living what she tells?
