Long ago and far away, the Menashe family was ready to celebrate Hanukkah. But suddenly there came a furious blizzard that covered all the apples and potatoes. And, alas, there would be no latkes and applesauce this year. But it's a stray dog and cat that come in from the storm that bring with them the miracle of Hanukkah--and in surprising ways, bring latkes and applesauce to the Menashes' home.
