Crossings: Fifty Years of the Angus L. MacDonald Bridge

Of the thousands of people who cross the Angus L. Macdonald Bridge every day, few are aware that it has been the site of babies' births, political protests- even the rescue of a tiny kitten. The "old bridge," as it is affectionately known, is as much a Nova Scotia Landmark as it was a feat of engineering in the 1950's.
