This book is an anthology of stories written by ordinary women of all ages across Canada who have experienced the loss of their spouse. They have all been through the process of grieving, but have gone on to "reinvent" their lives in some fashion. The process of reinvention takes many forms-for some it involves new careers or achievements; for others it can be as simple as overcoming old fears or taking small steps toward independence.
